Ok so as promised here is the scoop of what I know. Digger T. has lined up another production for a music video fast tracked for the end of August. I believe it will be the usual list of suspects from the production side, some people you may know from Blind Generation and most likely some new additions. For those of you not familiar with Blind Generation, the main team consists of:

The artists for this music video is Maitreya. Maitreya is hip hop artist out of New Zealand (don't ask me how Digger manages to know these people) and apparently him and DIgger T. go way back. Maetreya has a unique style of rapping in both English and Maori. To be honest I am not much of a Hip Hop fan outside of the old school stuff but I think this guy has massive potential. I have included two tracks above for your listening pleasure, both are releases from Maitreya's new album "Close to Home" and are in contention for the next music video. I am still finding out more information and will be updating this post with the information as I get. If you would like to listen to some more of Maitreya's work you can go here. So the story goes Maitreya is on tour doing some gigs in Europe and is going to be stopping through on his way back to New Zealand towards the end of August.  He is here for a week.  So there is a lot to make happen between now and then, lets see Digger work his magic!

What can I say...this shit kinda rocks! I don't know how I came across the good fortune to have 3 music videos, all RED productions fall into my lap in the course of 1.5 months but really I am like a kid in a candy store (hope I haven't used that one yet). I am really looking forward to pushing the medium even further beyond our budget restrictions, which are as usual coming out of pocket on this. RED has already updated their software and I assume there will be more updates coming in the next few weeks while we are pushing through the pre production on this project. I will as usual be updating my blog with what ever related (and some not) information as we get closer to the production dates. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have about Maitreya's music. I myself would like to find out more about him and as it would appear info about him on the net is scant, I will add to these here pages with more info as I find out. Enjoy :)
